Who we are

We are a digital and human infrastructure for cultural crowdfunding. We make it easier for financial support to become creative content, and for cultural, communication, and outreach projects to have the tools, guidance, and judgement to grow coherently and with absolute transparency. We are committed to strengthening the cultural and associative fabric around the world.

What is Aixeta

Aixeta is an ongoing crowdfunding platform that supports creators and organisations in making cultural, communication, and outreach projects happen across the entire world.

2019, the beginning

Platform launch

Aixeta launched in 2019 with an innovative and bold proposal: to put an ongoing crowdfunding infrastructure at the service of culture, with responsibility and transparency.

, the present

Consolidation and impact

Today, Aixeta is an established platform, with an active community of thousands of users, management tools and resources for creators, focused on sustainability and cultural support.

What we do and why

Aixeta is a platform that sustains cultural projects through recurring support and one-off campaigns. We provide tools and guidance so that an individual or a collective can turn an idea into an executable project: defining goals, rewards and timeline, resources to communicate responsibly, and mechanisms to measure and deliver. And, above all, we take care of the relationship with patrons and followers, so that trust is not rhetoric, but practice.

We do it from a simple and realistic conviction: transparency you can verify, sustainability you can plan, and a community that does not only applaud, but sustains. That’s why we are not interested in growing at any cost. We want projects to stay standing, with a solid base and responsibility.

Aixeta exists because cultural precarity is not an inevitable destiny, but a consequence that can be debated and, in part, corrected. If there are tools, methodology and commitment, the people who create can work with more dignity, and those who love culture can sustain it directly, clearly and coherently. This is our commitment, and it is not symbolic: it is structural.

What we do
Subscriptions and campaigns, goals and returns, timeline, communication and delivery.
What we believe in
Data and accountability, planning, and a community that sustains with judgement.
Why we exist
So that people who create can work, and people who love culture can sustain it.
How it works

Each project clearly defines what it offers, what commitments it takes on, and how it will follow up. Support can be recurring, through subscriptions, or one-off, in the form of campaigns with a specific goal. In both cases, the agreement is the same: patronage is not a vague commitment, but a relationship based on defined rewards and the responsibility to make them happen.

Patrons receive the agreed return and have information to understand what they are sustaining. Creators, for their part, have a space to share updates, organise the timeline, manage rewards, and keep the thread with their base of support. The result is a simple dynamic: where there is more support, there is more room to create.

And when issues arise, we take care of them. The platform includes tracking and management tools so creators can act with judgement: unpaid payment control, activity histories, filters, and messaging to resolve situations quickly and respectfully. Because we want the relationship to be direct and professional, yes, but also human: with words, with context, and with responsibility.

Who’s behind it

Aixeta is a non-profit cultural association. Our legal name is Associació l'Aixeta de promoció cultural, our tax ID is G67322925, and our headquarters are in La Ràpita (Montsià). Our registration number in the associations registry is 64934. Having our centre of gravity in the Terres de l'Ebre allows us to understand the world through a decentralised lens, far from paternalistic narratives. We work with clear governance and with the goal of serving the sector, not exploiting it.

We are a team that combines technology, cultural management, and project support. We know the ground because we have walked it, and we build the platform with a fixed idea: to make it useful, intuitive and fair not only for the creative community, but also for the community of patrons and followers who want to support it.

Impact and data

Aixeta’s real impact is not just a number, but data always helps to understand the context and to be accountable. That’s why we constantly publish information about the platform’s activity and the project’s evolution, and share learnings to improve every process and every practice.

We want support to be traceable, results to be explainable, and trust to be earned.

Partnerships and support

Aixeta collaborates with cultural stakeholders and has supporters who recognise the value of a cultural infrastructure at the service of the social construction. These partnerships reinforce an essential idea: when culture has structure, it gains freedom.

Commitment seals
Crowdfunding is also a way to take a stand. We believe in culture made through proximity, with time and care. These seals reflect our commitment to culture and to the people and collectives who sustain it day by day. That’s why we highlight kindred projects, and we promote and support them with a 0% commission.
Institutional support
As a non-profit cultural association, we are eligible to receive public grants from the Departament de Cultura of the Generalitat de Catalunya. As a digital tool that defends the Catalan language and our country’s cultural creation, we are currently receiving support from the programme Grants for projects by private non-profit entities to promote the Catalan language in Catalonia (PLG001).

Usage notes When should you use each version?

We recommend using the logo for general communication and headers. The icon is ideal for avatars, favicons and tight spaces. If the background is complex or dark, it is usually better to use one of the variants included in the full pack.
